Founded in 1991, the Ostego Bay Foundation Marine Science Center is a self funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, tax I.D. number 65-0307348.
The mission of the Ostego Bay Foundation, Inc. is to promote the understanding, preservation and enhancement of our unique marine environment through education, research and community involvement. The Foundation provides interactive educational experiences to encourage stewardship of our natural resources. We are grateful to our generous donors. Your tax deductible gifts make it possible for general improvements and expansion.

Ostego Bay Foundation depends upon Foundation Membership and financial donations which directly support our programs:
- Kids Summer Camp

Over 3,000 kids have participated - Working Waterfront Tours
Upwards 900 people a year take the tour - Marine Science Center Tours
People from all over the world visit - Florida Master Naturalist Program
While there is tuition, does not included added Expedition Excursion expenses. - Dolphin, Manatee, Sea Grass Research

Hundreds of Middle School, High School and University Students have interned at the Science Center - Hosting School Field Trips
Hundreds of K-12 participate in Discovery Labs - Museum in a Suitcase Outreach
