Florida Master Naturalist
Meet Marilyn. My love of nature began as a young child and my career as a naturalist in Colorado as a park naturalist and tour guide at Bear Creek canyon Park, and the Garden of the Gods Park, as well as a Docent at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo where I also taught Ecology to new docents as well as thousands of children.
During my 10 years in Florida I have been a Swamp Buggy Guide, a naturalist at a large Resort on Captiva Island where I ran a Nature Center, Led beach and shell walks, taught kayaking and gave talks on Dolphin, Manatee and Ospreys.
As well as being a naturalist for Ostego Bay Marine Science Center, I am a beach tour guide for Lee County Parks and Recreation, A volunteer animal rescuer for C.R.O.W. on Sanibel Island. and a tour Guide for Dragonfly Expeditions. My passions are Ecology and Calusa Indian History. Marilyn is a Certified Florida Master Naturalist & Nationally certified Interpretive Guide.
