Welcome to the Ostego Bay Marine Science
Center, located at 718 Fishermans Wharf, on San Carlos
Island in Fort Myers Beach. The Center provides a marine
science experience through interactive exhibits, aquariums,
hands on tank, collections and displays. Open
Wednesday-Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday hours vary seasonally.
Call for feeding times; it’s an opportunity
to see many of our reclusive marine specimens that come out
of hiding for lunch. Touch a starfish, put your head in the
mouth of a shark, see how sea turtles hatch, and more! |

TREASURES FROM THE SEA |

Discover the amazing
lifestyles of sea shells, sea urchins, sea stars, sea
horses, sand dollars and more. The new fascinating
two-hour program, hosted by a local Conchologist,
includes a PowerPoint Presentation, Hands-on tables,
Touch Tank, cleaning shells, etc.
See how marine treasures
found in Estero Bay and on Lovers Key play a role in
nature and how they adapt to our unique environment.
